Tell us about your company 3D Matrix?
3D Matrix is an international group that makes medical devices. Its head office is in Tokyo. Our main products are a hemostatic agent used in surgery and we have also developed several other medical devices used in surgery, namely for tissue regeneration and controlled drug release.
Why did you choose to develop your company in Lyon?
When 3D Matrix decided to set up in Europe, Aderly contacted me very quickly made a very convincing sales pitch concerning Lyon’s location. They showed me that, from a geographical point of view, it was far more advantageous than Paris. At a European level, Lyon was a valid location, as there are frequent flights to all European cities. Aderly also helped me to look for and find our employees. They organised a series of interviews with potential candidates and that was a great help.
What are your projects?
3D Matrix’s development plan is as follows: in terms of staff, we would like to expand. We are going to increase the number of medical applications pertaining to medical products that we will begin to market in Europe. We are going to intensify our scientific collaboration with universities, hospitals and small -and even big- companies to develop 3D matrix’ future products, we are also going to intensify our research on an international scale, either with French partners or with European, Japanese and American partners to develop our business.
