Founded in Lyon at the end of 2016, Mobee Travel is the first all-online holiday and activity bookings platform devoted to people with disabilities or reduced mobility. Its aim is to make travel accessible to all! Accommodation, tailored stays, transport, medical equipment and/or staff, 24/7 services… Mobee Travel takes care of everything for its clients at no extra cost and without charging commission on the services it provides. In order to do so, it has created a label which awards 1 to 4 bees to adapt the level of assistance to its users.
At the start of September 2020, the Lyon-based start-up won the “10,000 Start-Ups to Change the World” prize in the Smart Tech category (innovation of use). The Prize is organized by La Tribune, with the support of BNP Paribas, Enedis, WeHealth Digital Medicine, Bpifrance and Business France. For the past 8 years, it has been rewarding the most promising French start-ups in six categories, representing the challenges of tomorrow: Environment & Energy, Industry of the future, Data & AI, Smart Tech (innovative uses), Health, and Starters (in the seed and early stages).
