The 3rd edition of BlendWebMix will take place 28 – 29 October 2015 at the Convention Center of Lyon’s Cité Internationale.
Started in 2013, BlendWebMix has brought together every year since its creation all of the players that “make the Web”, from developers, designers and business promoters to marketing professionals and researchers, so they can meet and share their expertise.
One hundred speakers will be on hand to facilitate 80 conferences. These include renowned investors such as Jean-David Chamboredon, Chairman of ISAI (an investment fund for Internet entrepreneurs), founders or senior executives of digital companies such as Elliot Jay Stocks, Creative Director at Adobe, experts in Webmarketing and specialists in digital transition and design, such as Amélie Boucher, an expert in UX design at Ergolab.
The Blend Start Up Contest is once again on the agenda: 12 shortlisted startups will try to win over a jury of investors during a pitch presentation. The winner will be provided with support and promoted in the press. The call for applicants has been launched, and startups have until August 31st to send in their application.
BlendWebMix is co-organized by La Cuisine du Web, Le Clust’R Numérique and Université de Lyon in partnership with The Lyon Metropole and Lyon French Tech. Last year, the event proved a big hit, with attendance up 70% compared to 2013. This year, it is expected to draw up to 1,800 participants.
